Today, I wrote a brief summary of what I’ve been up to this past year in my efforts as a “content curator.” Here it is …

In an effort to build an “information ecosystem” about Bahá’í-related topics, since March 2021 I have made daily postings that include references to Bahá’í information on various social media platforms. This includes posting to Greener Acres Value Network (GAVNet) News which often includes Bahá’í-related news items. These are cross-posted to @GlobalRebirth44 on Twitter and to GlobalRebirth23 on Facebook as part of an interfaith collaboration addressing the consequences of climate change. GAVNet News is also cross-posted to Steve Bosserman on Micro.blog and on to Steve Bosserman on Mastodon.

In keeping with last year’s commemoration of the centenary of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, I posted to Micro.blog a compilation of information about ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s travels in North America in 1912 titled 239 Days. This year I’m updating those postings made last year and transferring them to Frameworks for Understanding the World on WordPress then on to @stevebosserman on Twitter.

Also, I posted on Micro.blog very brief excerpts of Plans released by the Universal House of Justice along a Bahá’í Timeline from 1963 until today.

Recently, I developed a “framework” that explores some of the key points associated with the design of the World Conferences underway which is now posted to Daily Log on Micro.blog. Throughout this wave of conferences I will transfer the framework from Micro.blog to Frameworks for Understanding the World so I can include more connections and information that arise as a result of the upcoming Nine Year Plan. Hopefully, this provides open source “resources” that others can use to track progress over the 25-year cycle initiated by the Nine Year Plan.

There is a close association between the investment of time Bahá’ís make to the Faith and its progress. The adaptation of a system like timebanking would offer a way for Bahá’ís to account for their time in support of various initiatives and in the development, exhibition, and refinement of specialized skills. Such accounting would underscore the value of each and every member of the Bahá’í community. In my opinion, this type of acknowledgement would further distinguish our aspiring community from those still steeped in the old world order and offer a compelling socio-economic model to investigate.

As the wave of global conferences continues to move across the world, more and more people are awakening to the possibilities for fostering unity and serving their society alongside their neighbors and other fellow citizens.

Participants of these conferences—the majority of which are taking place at the grassroots level—are seeing, in tangible form, the expression of Baha’u’llah’s vision of the world of humanity, which He has described as being a single unit—as one family—in the following quote: “Ye are all leaves of one tree and the drops of one sea.” 1 2
