Another day focused on support of my partner and her middle brother as he goes through diagnostics to understand more about his recent health concerns. Like much of what life deals out, there’s the process of learning about what’s going on followed by the process of learning about what addresses what’s going on, which then leads to the process of changing whatever one’s doing that prevents what’s going on from continuing and hopefully, reverses its ill-effects. Still, no matter how much one knows about cause and effect, it’s oftentimes an overwhelming challenge to take responsibility for one’s part in the “drama” playing out and change one’s behavior to alter its trajectory. But I’m getting ahead of myself—we’re still trying to find out what’s going on …
