Why Me?

When was the last time you asked the universe that question?

When was the last time you stopped and listened for an answer?

Because no matter how rhetorical you thought the question was, there really is an answer—and it is more comforting than you may think.

Of course, like many really important answers, you may not be able to listen to it straight-out. You may have to listen sort of sideways—out of the corner of your ear and between the lines, so to speak—using symbols, metaphor and parable. Parables help your heart listen for the “why” while your mind is absorbed with the “who, what, when and where” stuff.
