Cleaned out eave drains

Pruned the wisteria, which tends to grow where I don’t want it to and has yet to bloom despite over a decade in the ground. I’m resigned that it will be future generations who get the pleasure of seeing that phenomenon!

It was a lot easier letting gravity help going downhill on the way there than having to fight it pushing her uphill in the stroller on the way back. Hopefully, I live long enough that she can reciprocate by taking me around in a wheelchair ;-)

My sister and brother-in-law recently relocated and chose to donate several books in their library rather than move them. Many of these volumes are not well-known, but due to the topics they cover and the manner in which their authors explore them, they warrant a nod of recognition before being sent on their way. Accordingly, most quotes referenced in the “Quoted” section come from these books. Maybe they will stir (or renew) your interest, too.
